@calandrosmkt in Baton Rouge picked a really good barrel for their Buffalo Trace Single Barrel. The base Buffalo Trace is is a great value but so is this single barrel offering at $23.99 a bottle. The nose is really inviting with sweet oak, tobacco, warm baking spices, vanilla, and caramel. The palate is balanced with some classic Buffalo Trace cherry, caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon. The finish is long and balanced as well with cherry, vanilla, baking spices, and oak resin. Classic classic bourbon this.
